A customer spent more than 30 million VND on Christmas decorations at the FAHASA bookstore in District 7 (Tan Hung Ward), as many bookstores in Ho Chi Minh City enter the festive season.
On the evening of December 17, FAHASA District 7 (Tan Hung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) recorded a shopping bill worth over 30 million VND, covering a full set of decorations for the year-end holiday season.
According to a representative of the bookstore, the customer came with the intention of redecorating their home for Christmas and was assisted by staff in selecting items ranging from a Christmas tree, Santa Claus figures, and string lights to small accessories, all coordinated in a traditional style.
Due to the large quantity of goods, the customer was supported with home delivery. During this year’s festive season, the FAHASA bookstore system has simultaneously rolled out Christmas-themed spaces at major locations in Ho Chi Minh City such as FAHASA Tan Dinh, FAHASA Tan Phu, and FAHASA District 7. In addition to decorating giant Christmas trees, many locations also organize activities such as periodic artificial snow spraying and offer a wide variety of decorative items and gifts for sale.

In recent years, beyond books, bookstores have expanded their seasonal offerings to include greeting cards, Christmas tree ornaments, toys, and souvenirs. Many blind boxes, mini dolls, and mini LED lights are also displayed for customers to choose as Christmas gifts or for decorating personal spaces. Products are priced from a few tens of thousands to several million VND, depending on size and material.
According to observations from the FAHASA system, year-end shopping activity is heating up, with many shopping carts reaching high values ranging from several million to several tens of millions of VND, spanning books, stationery, and festive decoration items.
