Penguin Random House (PRH) is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious publishing houses, operating in more than 20 countries with its headquarters in New York, United States. The company was established in 2013 through the merger of two renowned publishing groups: the UK’s Penguin Group and Germany’s Random House.
Each year, Penguin Random House publishes more than 14,000 high-quality new titles across a wide range of genres, including classical and contemporary literature, psychology and life skills, business and management, children’s books, education, science, technology, and many other specialized fields.

Beyond its reputation for publishing works that have won prestigious awards such as the Nobel Prize, Pulitzer Prize, Booker Prize, and National Book Award, Penguin Random House US is also home to many globally influential authors who help shape reading trends and international publishing culture. With a modern vision and a sustainable development strategy, Penguin Random House US continues to uphold its position as a symbol of quality, creativity, and knowledge in the global publishing industry.
The Penguin Random House US Book Week runs until January 4, 2026. These publications are displayed and distributed at Nguyen Hue Bookstore and FAHASA bookstores nationwide, as well as on e-commerce platforms.
According to Mr. Pham Nam Thang, General Director of FAHASA, Penguin Random House US has maintained a cooperative relationship with FAHASA for many years. Each year, FAHASA imports and distributes thousands of books published by Penguin Random House US to Vietnamese readers.
In December 2025, Penguin Random House US officially announced a strategic partnership with FAHASA. Under this agreement, FAHASA will directly import and distribute Penguin Random House US publications throughout its nationwide bookstore system. This strategic cooperation is expected to mark a significant step forward in promoting reading culture and expanding Vietnamese readers’ access to global knowledge.
“At the book week, the featured publications belong to the most popular categories of Penguin Random House US and have been carefully selected by FAHASA to provide Vietnamese readers with high-quality, valuable knowledge suitable for all age groups. At the same time, the event offers Vietnamese readers opportunities to access high-quality English-language books that are educational, inspirational, and intellectually enriching for all ages,” Mr. Pham Nam Thang shared.

Mr. Cyrus Kheradi, Executive Vice President for International Sales, Marketing, and Business Development at Penguin Random House, also stated:
“At Penguin Random House, we believe that books are bridges-connecting cultures, generations, and ideas. This partnership with FAHASA clearly reflects that spirit.
