This morning, August 23, 2025, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism solemnly held a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector’s Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 – August 28, 2025), while commending exemplary role models for the 2023 – 2025 period. This grand event was organized to honor the sector’s glorious tradition, recognize outstanding contributions to cultural development, and affirm the important role and position of culture in the process of national building and development.

Within the framework of the ceremony, Mr. Phạm Nam Thắng – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Acting General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Corporation (FAHASA) – was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for his outstanding achievements in the fields of Culture, Information, Sports, and Tourism during the 2023 – 2025 period, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector’s Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 – August 28, 2025).
