As part of a series of activities celebrating the 50th Anniversary of FAHASA (1976–2026), FAHASA has launched the “Towards the Community” Program as one of its key initiatives, demonstrating the Company’s social responsibility and its mission to promote a culture of reading throughout the community.
With the goal of creating reading spaces and encouraging students to develop lifelong reading habits, FAHASA is implementing the “FAHASA Bookshelf” Project under the slogan: “FAHASA – Reading Together with You.” As part of the program, FAHASA is carrying out two main activities as follows:
Program 1: FAHASA Donates 51 Bookshelves to Schools
FAHASA, in collaboration with its partners, is organizing a program to donate 51 bookshelves to schools with active reading movements, with particular priority given to schools in remote, rural, and disadvantaged areas.
Through this meaningful initiative, FAHASA hopes to contribute to promoting a culture of reading, fostering knowledge, and nurturing the future of the younger generation.
Each selected school will receive:
- 02 book display shelves (each measuring 1.2 m × 2.2 m), valued at approximately VND 5,000,000 per shelf.
- 01 book collection comprising approximately 500–600 books, valued at approximately VND 45 million.
- 50 gift packages for students, including backpacks, school bags, school supplies, notebooks, and other items, with a total value of approximately VND 30,000,000.
- The program is expected to benefit 51 schools, with the total value of donations to schools estimated at more than VND 4 billion.
In addition, FAHASA will continue to provide new books during the first two years in order to maintain and further enhance the effectiveness of the school bookshelf program.
With its meaningful humanitarian purpose, the program has received strong support and participation from many reputable partners, including ZaloPay, Thiên Long, Hạnh Thuận, Vĩnh Thịnh, Tre Publishing House, Southern Education Company, and other organizations.
Program 2: “FAHASA and Customers Join Hands to Promote a Culture of Reading”
With the aim of bringing meaningful books to children at schools, FAHASA is pleased to launch the program “FAHASA and Customers Join Hands to Promote a Culture of Reading.”
With the hope that every book will become a meaningful gift for students, FAHASA warmly invites its valued customers and readers to participate in the program by:
- Selecting books that are suitable for students.
- Writing a personal message on the first page of each book to share heartfelt wishes and positive encouragement with its recipient.
- Donating books at designated collection boxes located throughout the FAHASA Bookstore System nationwide.
Books donated by customers will be carefully selected, sorted, and transported to schools for distribution during the implementation of the “FAHASA Bookshelf” Donation Program.
Although some of the donated books may be pre-owned, we believe that every book carries not only valuable knowledge but also the heartfelt sentiments of its donor, helping to spread kindness, encouragement, and hope among students.
The “FAHASA Bookshelf” Program has officially been launched and is currently in the preparation stage. The bookshelf donation activities are expected to begin in early August 2026, ensuring that the bookshelves will be ready for use in the new school year and enabling students to gain early access to a diverse collection of books and a positive, enriching reading environment.
Since July 27, 2026, in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of FAHASA (1976–2026), FAHASA has been implementing the “FAHASA Bookshelf Donation Ceremony” Program, bringing meaningful bookshelves and gifts to schools in Da Nang City, Hue City, and provinces throughout Central Vietnam, including:
