FAHASA Donates 100 Gift Packages to Children at Maison Chance Social Protection Center
In celebration of its 50th anniversary (1976–2026) and the arrival of Summer 2026, FAHASA continues to carry out meaningful community initiatives aimed at promoting a culture of reading, sharing compassion, and encouraging children facing difficult circumstances.
On May 29, 2026, FAHASA presented 100 gift packages to children at the Maison Chance Social Protection Center (38D Street 18B, Quarter 61, Binh Hung Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). Each gift package was valued at VND 600,000, for a total donation value of VND 60 million. Though modest in nature, these gifts carried FAHASA’s heartfelt care and support, bringing joy and encouragement to help the children gain greater confidence in their studies and daily lives.
In addition, FAHASA partnered with Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) to donate 1,000 notebooks along with many practical gifts, including backpacks, school supplies, book covers, books, and other learning materials, to disadvantaged students in Ba Ria–Vung Tau Province. These contributions reflect FAHASA’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and creating better learning opportunities for children in need.
FAHASA to Donate Bookshelves, Libraries, and Educational Gifts to 50 Schools Nationwide
As part of its 50th Anniversary celebrations, FAHASA will donate educational resources and gifts to 50 schools across Vietnam. Each participating school will receive:
- One library book cabinet containing approximately 500–600 books, valued at around VND 45 million.
- Two book display shelves (each measuring 1.2m x 2.2m), valued at approximately VND 5 million.
- Fifty gift packages for disadvantaged students, including backpacks, school bags, stationery, notebooks, and other school supplies, with a total value of approximately VND 30 million per school.
The total value of donations for all 50 schools is estimated at VND 4 billion.
Through these community-focused initiatives commemorating its 50th anniversary, FAHASA continues to reaffirm its role not only as Vietnam’s leading professional bookstore chain but also as an organization committed to supporting communities by promoting knowledge, fostering a reading culture, and empowering younger generations in their educational journeys and future development.
