A total of 1,350 gifts, including backpacks, notebooks, and school supplies, have been delivered to students in areas severely impacted by storms and flooding in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Thua Thien Hue.
In recent days, provinces in Central Vietnam have been continuously affected by heavy rains and by tropical storms No. 10 and No. 11, causing strong winds, flash floods, landslides, and severe inundation. The disasters have disrupted the lives of millions of residents, with many students losing books and other learning materials and facing significant obstacles on their journey to school.
In a spirit of compassion and solidarity, people across the country have been sending meaningful support to affected communities. Each vehicle sent, each gift delivered carries heartfelt wishes for safety and hope-providing positive energy to help residents overcome hardship and stabilize their lives.
A representative of Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Corporation (FAHASA) shared that, in an effort to support students heavily impacted by the disaster, the corporation collaborated with various suppliers to launch the program “FAHASA Donates Gifts to Students in Flood-Affected Areas of Central Vietnam.”
The program provides 1,350 gift sets, each including a student backpack, 10 notebooks, a pencil pouch, and a complete school supply kit (pencils, pens, ruler, sharpener, eraser, notebook labels), along with book covers and other items.
Each gift set is valued at 600,000 VND, totaling 810 million VND, and is intended to ease difficulties and help students resume their studies with essential learning tools.

The program runs from November 13 to November 18, with all 1,350 gifts distributed across schools in Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Thua Thien Hue.
Distribution details:

FAHASA expressed hope that these practical gifts will help ease difficulties for students in flood-stricken areas, allowing them to continue their education with optimism and determination. The corporation reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining community-focused activities in the future.
In recent times, responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Publishing Association, many publishing and book distribution units have joined hands to support those affected by storms and floods. Some organizations have even auctioned special book collections-such as the “10 Years of New Literature” series-to raise funds for disaster-hit communities.
