After days of storms and heavy rains, Central Vietnam still bears deep scars from the destruction left behind. Many small schools were submerged, textbooks swept away, and the bright smiles of children suddenly quieted amid countless difficulties. Torrential rains combined with Storms No. 10 and 11 caused flash floods, landslides, and severe damage across many provinces, turning the lives of thousands of families upside down. Students were left without school supplies and proper conditions to continue their education. Yet, in the face of hardship, compassion shines through-in every relief trip, in every heartfelt gift, and in every gesture of support reaching out to the children day by day.
1. Sharing Hardships – Supporting Knowledge
With the spirit of “the good leaves protect the torn ones,” FAHASA, together with its partners, launched the program “FAHASA Presents Gifts to Students in Flood-Affected Areas of Central Vietnam” to support students during this challenging period and strengthen their motivation to return to school. The program delivered 1,350 gift packages worth a total of 810,000,000 VND. These meaningful gifts help students quickly regain stability in their studies and return to class with the essential school supplies they need.
2. Program Scale and Gift Distribution Locations (November 13 -18, 2025)
A total of 1,350 gift packages were directly delivered to students in Nghệ An, Hà Tĩnh, and Thừa Thiên Huế, including:
- 150 gifts (90,000,000 VND) – Thanh Tho Secondary School, Nghệ An
- 100 gifts (60,000,000 VND) – Cam Vinh Primary School, Hà Tĩnh
- 200 gifts (120,000,000 VND) – Cam Due Primary School, Hà Tĩnh
- 150 gifts (90,000,000 VND) – Dinh Son Primary School, Nghệ An
- 212 gifts (127,200,000 VND) – Quang An Primary School No. 1, Thừa Thiên Huế
- 178 gifts (106,800,000 VND) – Quang Phuoc Primary School No. 2, Thừa Thiên Huế
- 210 gifts (126,000,000 VND) – Quang Vinh Primary School No. 1, Hue City
- 150 gifts (90,000,000 VND) – Quang Loi Primary School No. 2, Hue City
Each gift package included: a school backpack or bag, 10 notebooks, a pencil case, a stationery set (pencils, ballpoint pens, ruler, sharpener, eraser, notebook labels), book covers, and notebook covers.
3. FAHASA Spreads Knowledge – Walking Alongside the Community
Throughout nearly 50 years of operation, FAHASA has always prioritized community-oriented activities, especially supporting students-the future generation of the country. This gifting program not only provides material support but also reflects the spirit of care, solidarity, and compassion shared by FAHASA and its partners.
