(KTSG Online) – Right after the liberation day, recognizing the urgent need to distribute books, newspapers, and to promote revolutionary culture, the leadership of Ho Chi Minh City quickly established the Distribution Department under the Department of Information and Culture, which later became the State-owned Book Distribution Company of Ho Chi Minh City – the predecessor of Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Company (Fahasa) today.
In the talk show below, Mr. Pham Nam Thang, Acting General Director of Fahasa, shared about the nearly 50-year journey accompanying the city’s development, from a small distribution office to becoming the largest bookstore chain in the country.”
