On the evening of April 12, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of FAHASA Company (1976–2026), FAHASA launched a Japanese Festival combined with the Dan Da Dan manga unboxing event at FAHASA Tan Dinh Bookstore, marking the beginning of a celebration series running from April to August 2026 across the entire FAHASA system.
The Japanese Festival at FAHASA Tan Dinh Bookstore featured a variety of activities combining books, cultural products, and interactive experiences, serving as the opening event for FAHASA’s 50th anniversary celebration series.
As part of the program, FAHASA introduced many product categories currently popular among young readers, including manga, figures, stationery, and Japanese-inspired merchandise – product lines that are attracting strong interest from today’s younger customer groups.
In particular, through collaborations with strategic partners, FAHASA continues to expand its product categories and customer experiences by introducing many globally popular IPs such as Hello Kitty, Sanrio, Doraemon, Dan Da Dan, Sonny Angel, and more.
Bringing globally beloved IPs into bookstore spaces not only enriches the shopping experience, but also reflects FAHASA’s direction in keeping up with contemporary cultural and entertainment trends, gradually transforming bookstores into destinations that are more aligned with the interests and preferences of the new generation of customers.
A major highlight of the event is the unboxing of the blockbuster manga Dan Da Dan Volume 1 together with famous TikToker Hill Manga, promising a lively, engaging, and interactive atmosphere for the manga-loving community.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in mini-games and quizzes to receive Dan Da Dan posters from Kim Dong Publishing House, while also enjoying energetic Japanese music performances that help create a youthful, colorful festival atmosphere filled with Japanese cultural spirit right inside the bookstore space.
During this occasion, FAHASA will also launch many other popular manga series such as: Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Monster Deluxe, The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, One Piece, The Ghibli masterpiece Kiki’s Delivery Service, Yomi no Tsugai Volume 1 (new release) with both standard and special editions including gifts, Love Bullet Volume 1 (new release)…and many more.

Specifically, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, customers can join the launch event for the Pokémon TCG Mega Evolution Perfect & Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box, while also directly experiencing the Pokémon ME03 Card Game.
Continuing the program, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, participants can attend the Ensky Model Assembly Workshop, followed by the Gunpla Model Assembly Workshop from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM — activities that are expected to further enhance the event’s appeal while increasing interaction and hands-on experiences for attendees.
