To me, FAHASA is more than just a partner – it is a world of memories that has accompanied me through every chapter of my life.
I still remember my university days, when I would save up for an entire month before finally stepping into Xuan Thu Bookstore to buy a foreign-language book. Back then, books were precious and expensive. Holding an English book in my hands felt like holding a priceless treasure.
Later, when I worked at VATC (Vietnamese American Training College), that connection grew even stronger. On weekends, we partnered with FAHASA to organize “English Storytelling Hour” sessions with international teachers. Even today, I can still vividly remember the children’s bright smiles and innocent, curious eyes.
Then came another chapter of life. I got married, and when my child turned five, visiting FAHASA together became one of our family’s favorite weekend traditions. Watching my child eagerly turn the pages of book after book in that warm and welcoming space, I realized that FAHASA was now nurturing the heart and mind of the next generation.
And today, as I attend FAHASA’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, it is difficult to put my emotions into words.
Thirty years alongside FAHASA – it has been far more than a professional partnership. It represents 30 years of trust in FAHASA’s integrity, quality, and unwavering dedication.
From the young university student who once stood hesitantly before the bookshelves of Xuan Thu Bookstore, to a mother holding her child’s hand, and now to a representative of an educational organization, I have had the privilege of witnessing FAHASA’s remarkable journey in becoming a trusted pillar of knowledge for generations of Vietnamese readers.
My heartfelt gratitude goes to FAHASA’s Board of Directors and to all generations of its dedicated employees.
Thank you, FAHASA, for being a trusted companion through the years – quietly walking alongside education, inspiring generations, and nurturing a lifelong love of knowledge in countless Vietnamese families.
Some businesses create products, but others create memories that live on for generations.
FAHASA is one of them.
