As part of the activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of Fahasa (August 6, 1976 – August 6, 2026), FAHASA, in collaboration with Sun Wolf, organized a meet-and-greet and book signing event with author Huỳnh Thái Ngọc, the creator of Thỏ Bảy Màu. The event also introduced readers to the new title Giải Cứu Thỏ Bảy Màu Trong Xứ Sở Không Màu, an interactive comic publication designed for young readers.
Meet-and-Greet Event with Author Huỳnh Thái Ngọc at Nhà sách FAHASA Tan Dinh
The event took place from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on May 2, 2026, at FAHASA Tan Dinh Bookstore, giving readers the opportunity to meet author Huỳnh Thái Ngọc in person, learn more about his creative process, and participate in various interactive activities related to the new publication.
Huỳnh Thái Ngọc is currently considered one of the Vietnamese comic authors receiving significant attention from young readers. He is best known as the creator of Thỏ Bảy Màu, a character recognized for its humorous style, relatable everyday themes, and strong popularity across digital platforms. From being a standout social media character, Thỏ Bảy Màu has gradually expanded into various published works and interactive content aimed at young audiences.
What Makes “Giải Cứu Thỏ Bảy Màu Trong Xứ Sở Không Màu” Special?
Following the success of the Vietnamese children’s comic Thỏ Bảy Màu và những người nghĩ nó là bạn, released in 2021, author Huỳnh Thái Ngọc spent nearly five years completing his third interactive comic project titled Giải Cứu Thỏ Bảy Màu Trong Xứ Sở Không Màu.
What makes this work unique is its creative, unconventional, and refreshing storytelling format. It is not simply a humorous comic book to read, but also an interactive reading experience for children and young audiences, where readers directly participate in the story alongside Thỏ Bảy Màu.
According to the author, readers will become the “future saviors of Thỏ Bảy Màu,” deciding how the story unfolds through interactive activities throughout the book. With a fun Vietnamese comic style, rich imagination, and fantasy-adventure elements, the publication is expected to attract a large number of young readers, especially fans of Vietnamese comics, Vietnamese-style manga, and modern creative children’s books.
Beyond entertainment, Giải Cứu Thỏ Bảy Màu Trong Xứ Sở Không Màu also contributes to promoting reading culture among children, encouraging creativity, decision-making skills, and emotional connection through its unique multi-choice interactive comic format.

“Author of the Month” Series for Fahasa’s 50th Anniversary Celebration
Throughout May and June 2026, Fahasa continues to organize a series of meet-and-greet and book signing events across bookstores within its nationwide system, featuring authors currently attracting strong reader interest, including: Huỳnh Thái Ngọc; Dr. Nguyễn Văn Tuấn – the first Vietnamese-origin scientist elected as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences, the Royal Society of New South Wales, and the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research; M.A. Nguyễn Thị Ngân (Cô Chân Kiến) – lecturer of “Literature and Modern Life” at university level and researcher developing literary appreciation programs for children aged 0-16 based on psychological development; along with the Team Én author group including Tuấn Dũng, Thân Hoàng Giang, and Nguyễn Hưng.
In addition to book launch activities, Fahasa is introducing the “Author of the Month” series, aimed at expanding opportunities for direct interaction between authors and readers at bookstores. This initiative is part of FAHASA’s long-term strategy to support Vietnamese authors and contribute to the development of the domestic publishing industry.
FAHASA Enhances Reading Culture Experiences and Reader Community Connections
As part of the program, Fahasa plans to host meet-and-greet and signing sessions with many popular authors such as Lam, Hạ Mer, Jun Phạm, Tuệ Nghi, Anh Khang, Iris Cao, and Gari, alongside comic creators including Huỳnh Thái Ngọc, Tuấn Dũng, and Đặng Quang Dũng, thereby strengthening engagement and connections with the reading community.
The National Literature Books division’s activities during this period are being implemented through a combination of new book launches, exclusive edition releases, and author interaction events, creating the opening momentum for the overall 50th anniversary celebration program of FAHASA.
