During the complex developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Corporation (FAHASA) actively carried out various community support activities, demonstrating strong social responsibility and solidarity with frontline forces in the fight against the pandemic.
SUPPORTING PANDEMIC PREVENTION EFFORTS IN BẮC GIANG PROVINCE
FAHASA, along with all employees and partners, raised over 900 million VND to support COVID-19 prevention efforts in Bắc Giang province. This timely action contributed to helping the local authorities overcome a highly stressful period in disease control.


DONATION OF 2 MODERN VENTILATORS TO FRONTLINE HOSPITALS
To aid in the treatment of COVID-19 patients, FAHASA launched a fundraising campaign to purchase ventilators, starting with an initial contribution of 500 million VND. Within just two weeks, the campaign garnered enthusiastic support from staff and partners, raising a total of over 1 billion VND.
On July 28, 2021, FAHASA donated 2 SAVINA 300 SELECT – DRAEGER invasive ventilators, each valued at 700 million VND, to two major frontline hospitals treating severe COVID-19 cases in Ho Chi Minh City:
- Chợ Rẫy Hospital
- University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City


ONGOING SUPPORT FOR CỦ CHI FIELD HOSPITAL
FAHASA continued to support Củ Chi Field Hospital with total donations valued at 230 million VND, including:
- 17,000 pairs of medical gloves
- 150 sets of level-3 protective suits
- 200 boxes of Nestlé milk
- Along with nutritious snacks and essential food supplies
