FAHASA, in collaboration with Tre Publishing House, organized a meet-and-greet and book-signing event with author Nguyen Nhat Anh on June 13, 2026

As part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Corporation – FAHASA (1976–2026) and its ongoing commitment to bringing meaningful activities to the book-loving community, FAHASA, in collaboration with Tre Publishing House, organized a meet-and-greet and book-signing event with author Nguyen Nhat Anh on June 13, 2026, at FAHASA Tan Dinh Bookstore in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for readers, especially those who have followed Nguyen Nhat Anh’s works over the years, to meet the author in person, engage in direct interaction, and receive autographs from one of the most beloved writers in contemporary Vietnamese literature.

A highlight of the event was the introduction of the hardcover box set “Nguyen Nhat Anh – From Books to Films,” a special publication created for readers who admire Nguyen Nhat Anh’s literary works and the film adaptations based on Vietnamese literature.

The box set includes four of the author’s most acclaimed novels: Dreamy Eyes (Mat Biec), The Girl from Yesterday (Co Gai Den Tu Hom Qua), Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass (Toi Thay Hoa Vang Tren Co Xanh), and Once Upon a Love Story (Ngay Xua Co Mot Chuyen Tinh). Each of these titles has sold hundreds of thousands of copies, been cherished by generations of readers, and successfully adapted into feature films.

All four books are presented in hardcover editions featuring cover designs inspired by their respective film adaptations. The collection is housed in a sturdy and elegant collector’s box made from colored paper mounted on MDF board. It also comes with exclusive gifts for collectors, including a premium canvas tote bag, individual bookmarks for each book, and a shikishi board featuring an image of author Nguyen Nhat Anh.

Released in early June 2026, the box set is a special collaborative project between Tre Publishing House and FAHASA, commemorating the 45th anniversary of Tre Publishing House and the 50th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Corporation – FAHASA (1976–2026).

Through this collection, readers have the opportunity to revisit the journey of beloved Vietnamese literary works from page to screen while owning a unique collector’s edition that celebrates the intersection of literature and cinema.
