FAHASA Announces the Opening of 10 New Bookstores in 2026, Reaching a Milestone of 150 Bookstores Nationwide

In celebration of FAHASA’s 50th Anniversary (1976–2026), Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Corporation (FAHASA) officially announces its plan to open 10 additional bookstores in 2026, bringing the total number of FAHASA bookstores nationwide to 150 by December 2026. This initiative is one of the key activities in FAHASA’s 50th Anniversary Celebration program under the theme: “50 Years of FAHASA – Serving the Community, Spreading Knowledge.”

This milestone marks a new stage in FAHASA’s growth and development after five decades of operation, further reinforcing its position as Vietnam’s leading professional bookstore chain. With an extensive nationwide distribution network, FAHASA continues to meet the reading, educational, entertainment, and cultural shopping needs of readers and customers across the country.

FAHASA to Open 10 New Bookstores in 2026

In 2026, FAHASA will continue expanding its bookstore network with plans to open 10 new bookstores across various provinces and cities throughout Vietnam. Most of the new locations will be situated in major shopping centers such as AEON, Vincom, Lotte Mart, and Sense City, enabling FAHASA to better serve the large customer base in key urban and commercial areas.

The list of bookstores that have already opened or are scheduled to commence operations in 2026 is as follows:

  1. FAHASA Tay Nha Trang Bookstore – Located at Lotte Mart Shopping Center, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province; area: 180 m². Opened in April 2026 and is now officially in operation.
  2. FAHASA Tan Dong Hiep Bookstore – Located on Level 2 of Vincom Plaza Di An; area: 270 m². Officially opened on May 29, 2026.
  3. FAHASA Bac Giang Bookstore – Located at Lotte Mart Bac Giang – Bac Ninh; area: 250 m². Scheduled to open in June 2026.
  4. FAHASA Gia Nghia Bookstore – Located in Dak Nong Province; area: 250 m². Scheduled to open in July 2026.
  5. FAHASA Dan Phuong Bookstore – Located at Vincom Plaza Dan Phuong, Hanoi; area: 320 m². Scheduled to open in August 2026.
  6. FAHASA Hai Duong Bookstore – Located at AEON SC Hai Duong – Hai Phong; area: 580 m². Scheduled to open in September 2026.

Nationwide Bookstore Management Network

Currently, FAHASA operates through five Book Centers, its E-commerce Division, and FABICO, which are responsible for managing the bookstore network as follows:

  • Nguyen Hue Book Center manages 31 bookstores across Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast region, and the Mekong Delta.
  • Xuan Thu Book Center manages 22 bookstores across Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast region, the Central region, and the Central Highlands.
  • Phu Nhuan Book Center manages 23 bookstores across Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast region, the Central region, and the Central Highlands.
  • Gia Dinh Book Center manages 26 bookstores across Ho Chi Minh City, the Southeast region, and the Central region.
  • FAHASA Hanoi Book Center manages 28 bookstores in Hanoi and the Northern provinces.
  • FABICO manages 12 bookstores in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast region, as well as the e-commerce platform fabico.com.
  • The E-commerce Division currently operates and manages seven online sales channels, including Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, the FAHASA website, and the FAHASA mobile application.
