Along life’s journey, I hurriedly left,
Leaving my poor hometown, driven by my dreams.
Leaving my kind father, hoping for a brighter future,
So I could help ease the burdens he carried. For many years, I have remained far away,
While in our poor village, my father toils alone.
With Mother gone, Father raised and guided me,
Teaching me to live kindly and honor my parents. Those teachings remain deeply engraved in my heart,
And I have always wished to repay his love and kindness,
To help relieve some of his hardships.
Yet life remains busy and full of struggles.Regarding my filial duty, I can only postpone my promise.
In a foreign land, I swallow my sorrow and longing for my father.
In this fleeting human life, I silently beg for forgiveness.
Waiting for my return, my father’s love means everything.
