The 10th Hanoi Book Fair – A Meaningful Reading Culture Event in 2025
The 10th Hanoi Book Fair takes place from October 3 to 5, 2025 at the Hoan Kiem Walking Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. The event is directed by the Hanoi People’s Committee and organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports. This is a practical activity to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), as well as the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2025).
The event also serves to promote the nation’s historical, cultural, and revolutionary traditions, fostering patriotism, self-reliance, resilience, the strength of great national unity, and the aspiration to build a prosperous and happy country. It highlights the thousand-year-old heroic cultural traditions of Thang Long – Hanoi. At the same time, it continues to strengthen activities that develop reading culture, encourage reading habits, and expand the reading movement within the community, aiming toward a learning society and contributing to the development of elegant and civilized Hanoians.
